QID refreshes user experience to drive pharmaceutical brand interactions
HALIFAX, NS, Jun. 22, 2022 – QID, Canada’s leading collaboration network for pharmacists, made global design changes to its free online network that will impact how pharmaceutical manufacturers reach their target audience.
Pharmacists join QID to collaborate and discuss various clinical topics in specialized groups known as “Communities.” The new user experience improvements will make it easier for members to discover and interact with relevant products related to their professional interests.
“We have removed the need to search for product information from multiple online sources with brand placements in our network,” shares Tim Rice, CEO of QID.
“In building the new experience we wanted to focus on increasing the audience size and content engagement for our industry partners,” added Brice Walsh, Chief Product Officer of QID. “With our new Communities experience, we’ve made it easier for our members to explore sponsored events and Communities without having to use the search feature.”
QID provides a free platform for all pharmacists by generating revenue from the life sciences industry which strives to reach clinical decision-makers with relevant product information. Since its creation in 2012, QID has positioned itself as a Canadian market leader and forged industry relationships with national governing bodies including the Pharmaceutical Advertising Advisory Board (PAAB) and Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC).
“Our membership is an important target audience for the life sciences industry,” shares Chris Etheridge, Vice President of Business Development of QID. “However, at the core of our solution are the pharmacists. We work diligently to create meaningful compliant content experiences that our members value. We have created a turn-key approach that supports positive interactions between pharmaceutical brands, and the most active pharmacist audiences in the market.”
To date, QID as well as its sister network The Rounds has over 15,000 active verified healthcare professionals as members and is expanding its reach into the US market.
